How to use watercolour pencils?
I have this set of faber-castle water colour pencils.
I am into art and design but how do you use these pencils properly
I have tried but my picture or fashion design just looks messy.
Help?
There is not right or wrong way. . . it takes experimentation.
~You can wet the pencil and draw with wet lead for a thick line.
~You can wet the paper before drawing for lines that are soft and may spread a little.
~You can lay down some color (evenly – this seems to be the clue) and then stroke over it with a damp brush.
~You can scrape some of the colored lead and add water and use it like watercolors.
