Why is Leonardo da Vinci the most influential person of the Renaissance?
He studied human anatomy, movement and nature, botany to the degree that these objects were precise and very accurately represented in his paintings. He was not only an artist but an architect and inventor. He also refined the technique of sfumato in his paintings.
