How many bales of hay to feed my horse?
I have a 1850lb Draft. I am moving her to a facility where I supply feed and hay. Please be exact…How many square bales of hay per day/week/month will I need to buy? I know a man who is selling square Grass/Timothy Mix hay for 3.25 a bale….
Is that a good price? And how many bales will I need per Week/Month?

That’s a great price! Just make sure it’s not shoddy quality hay. She will probably need at the very least a bale a day. That’s 7 bales a week, and work up from there. It may be cheaper for you to get a round bale if she’ll be out to pasture. There are some providers who are willing to deliver for you. That way she can eat as she pleases.
Feed-wise depending on her condition I would say she’ll go through at least 1.5 bags a week. Figure out how many lbs of feed she eats a day and divide it by 50lbs (or however heavy your bags of feed are). That will tell you approx how many days it will last.
