what are some contemporary artworks that depict children/childhood?
i’m doing a project called ‘contemporary depictions of childhood’.
it would be lovely if you could please cite some art works which fulfill this title. i know paula rego does some, dorothea lange’s photographs, some of marlene dumas’ work…
however they must be *contemporary*, which means from modern art onwards, and they must be considered fine art. they needn’t be restricted to painting. engraving, photography, sculpture, video installation, performance art and the lot are all acceptable.

They are all considered fine art. You might find a lot more on photography. I remember some video installation, where the artist bild an adventure island with his son in the kitchen, but I forgot the title.
