Screen printing paints and screens costing?
I’ve been looking online within Australia to purchase screen printing paints and screens etc and they all look very expensive and I am sure I can get it cheaper, not easy to find a company selling small to the public. Can anyone recommend some online art supplies that aren’t over the top with prices. this is just for my personal use at home for my own designs onto shirts. Thanks.
Hey there, the cheapest way to do screenprinting is to make your own frames and stencils; there are a few good screen-making tutorials if you have a look on the net. You can also have a look through the classifieds for second hand gear that works just great.
Paints are expensive, but remember you only really need the primary colours, black and white to do whatever you want.
